December 1st honored World AIDS Day, an international day dedicated to raising awareness around the AIDS pandemic.
This year, (RED) partners and supporters introduced more ways than ever to CHOOSE (RED) SAVE LIVES on World AIDS Day and throughout the month of December. Join us in the fight to end AIDS and make preventable and treatable diseases preventable and treatable for everyone.

(RED) Gifts That Hit Different

This holiday season, (RED) and its partners are offering a wide selection of ‘Gifts that Hit Different.’ From the (BAREFOOT DREAMS)ᴿᴱᴰ blanket and the temperature control (EMBER)ᴿᴱᴰ collection of mugs to keep you warm all winter long, to the (PANASONIC)ᴿᴱᴰ Arc6 Men’s Electric Shaver and (MOREL)ᴿᴱᴰ Eyewear collection to prep for every party, there’s something for everyone on your holiday shopping list. Thanks to the generosity of (RED) supporter Merck (known as MSD outside the U.S. and Canada), every purchase from, from 11/15 through 12/31, will trigger a donation of $10 to the Global Fund, up to a maximum of $200,000 USD, meaning every gift purchased really hits different in more ways than one.

Apple Unveils a Number of Ways to Support (RED) This World AIDS Day

This year, Apple is offering its best range of (PRODUCT)ᴿᴱᴰ products across iPhone, Apple Watch, and accessories. A portion of the proceeds from every (PRODUCT)ᴿᴱᴰ purchase goes to the Global Fund. On World AIDS Day, the App Store, Apple Music, Apple TV app, and Apple Books featured collections for users to explore to learn more about the fight to end AIDS. (RED) is the Color of the Season at Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park

Bank of America helped raise awareness of its partnership with (RED) and the fight against AIDS through special World AIDS Day activations at the Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park—including QR codes displayed around the site to make it easy for people to shop (RED) products. Also on World AIDS Day, Bank of America donated $100,000 to help fund life-saving programs.

(RED) Holiday Cooking Challenge with Chef Hong

The “(RED) Holiday Cooking Challenge” featuring celebrated Chef Hong Thaimee is launching soon! Chef Hong is a proud (RED) Ambassador and will prepare some fun holiday food in the kitchen of her NYC restaurant, Thaimee Love, using (RED) products from Panasonic, Anova Culinary, and more.

Astor Place Hairstylists Collaboration

Along with cooking content, this month (RED) is also creating a video in collaboration with legendary NYC barbershop, Astor Place Hairstylists, and their renowned barbers, Benny and Koko. Benny is known for his detailed work and Koko credits Andy Warhol and Keith Haring as former clients. They will be using the (PANASONIC)ᴿᴱᴰ Multishape on the owner, Johnny “New York” Trichter.

In celebration of World AIDS Day, (RED) supporter, Roche, released a new episode of its “Voices for Health” Podcast to discuss the importance of diagnostics and lab system strengthening in fighting pandemics. The episode features a conversation between (RED) Chief Impact and Strategy Officer, Luisa Engel, and Head of Laboratory, Doreen Shempela and Laboratory Technician, Cynthia Kasonde, from the Church’s Health Association of Zambia Laboratory. Healthline and (RED) are joining forces for the fourth year this World AIDS Day to support the fight against AIDS. Vespa’s Motoplex Showroom Turns (RED)

In honor of World AIDS Day, long-time (RED) partner, Vespa, turned its Motoplex Showroom in Milan (RED) through product displays, signage and window decals with messaging about (RED)’s mission. Additionally, every coffee purchased in the showroom this week will go to the Global Fund to support (RED).

(RED)UCATORS and Ambassadors Voice Their Support

(RED)UCATORS and celebrated (RED) ambassadors shared important World AIDS Day messages with their audiences on social media to help generate heat around the fight to end AIDS. (RED) co-founder Bono snapped a life-saving selfie outside the Apple store to celebrate (RED)’s partnership with Apple. Meanwhile, (RED)UCATOR Phoebe Robinson took over Glamour Magazine’s Instagram story to speak about her experience visiting (RED)-supported programs on her recent trip to Tanzania.

(RED)UCATOR Lexi Underwood shared a deep look into the impact her trip to Tanzania made on her outlook for her generation – there is so much hope, but so much more to do. Actor Martins Imhangme also shared content from the same Tanzania trip to express his support of (RED) and ONE’s mission.

(RED)UCATORs Javier Muñoz, Damson Idris, and Dayo Okeniyi, actress Leann Rimes, and long-time (RED) supporter and model Anne V also posted across social media to raise awareness for World AIDS Day.

Plus, Panasonic collaborated with gaming creator Sam Seum to promote the Panasonic SoundSlayer Wearable Immersive Gaming Speaker System and the (PANASONIC)ᴿᴱᴰ partnership as a whole.
