Celebrating Black Icons Who Are Shaping The Future
Juneteenth is a celebration of progress, possibility, and the Black visionaries who keep pushing culture forward.
At (RED), we are proud to celebrate Black founders from past and present partnerships who have turned big ideas into businesses, communities, and movements. Their work reminds us that supporting Black-owned businesses is about more than what we buy; it is about investing in creativity, opportunity, and a future where more people have the chance to thrive.
That future is deeply connected to the fight against HIV/AIDS. While incredible progress has been made, Black communities continue to be disproportionately impacted by HIV both in the United States and around the world. Ending AIDS is not just about medicine. It is about equity. It is about ensuring that access to healthcare is not determined by race, geography, or circumstances.
This Juneteenth, we are celebrating Black founders and creators in the (RED) family whose impact reaches far beyond their industries and whose work helps move us all toward a more equitable future.

Beatrice Dixon | The Honey Pot Company
When Beatrice Dixon launched The Honey Pot Company, she did more than create a wellness brand. She helped spark important conversations around women’s health, self-care, and representation in an industry that had often overlooked Black founders. Through products designed to support intimate wellness and everyday care, Dixon built a company centered on education, accessibility, and empowerment.
Virgil Abloh | Louis Vuitton
Louis Vuitton has long been a supporter of (RED), using creativity and craftsmanship to help advance the fight against AIDS. Among its most notable collaborations was a special edition Louis Vuitton sneaker designed and signed by Virgil Abloh, whose influence continues to shape fashion, culture, and design around the world. One of the most groundbreaking creative voices of his generation, Abloh challenged conventions, expanded opportunities, and redefined what leadership in luxury fashion could look like for Black creatives. His work helped open doors for a new generation of artists, designers, and entrepreneurs, proving that creativity can be both culturally influential and deeply impactful. His legacy serves as a powerful reminder that when innovation meets purpose, it can help move entire industries forward.
Dr. Dre | Beats
Dr. Dre helped redefine the way the world experiences music. Through Beats, he transformed a simple idea into one of the most influential consumer technology brands of the modern era. Products like the iconic Beats headphones became cultural staples, proving that innovation, design, and storytelling can shape entire industries. Through its partnership with (RED), Beats showed that great sound can do more than move people, it can move a mission. By turning everyday listening into an opportunity to support the fight against AIDS, the collaboration helped bring new audiences, new energy, and greater visibility to a cause that continues to demand global attention.
Building What Comes Next
The founders we celebrate today are proof that progress does not happen by accident. It happens when people dare to create, lead, innovate, and open doors for others along the way.
Their brands, artistic contributions, and other Black-owned businesses have shaped culture, sparked conversations, and built communities. That same spirit powers the fight against HIV/AIDS. Because creating a healthier, more equitable future requires all of us showing up, investing in one another, and refusing to leave anyone behind.
When you support a (RED) partner, you become part of that story. You help expand access to life-saving healthcare, strengthen communities, and bring us closer to a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
